After a certain age, my brain started working differently. I was told it’s called CRS. So in my blog last night, I completely whiffed on remembering another participant in the Spoken Word Event that I know pretty well. It was Dana Gamarra, who shared heart warming tales of wise words from the mouths of children. Dana is most familiar to me as a stage manager and he also runs the Stage Management program at Wayne State University. That’s no small undertaking. If I recall correctly, he once told me a typical season in the Theatre and Dance Department involves well over 20 productions a year as well as classes and all. I knew he’d spent a few years acting as well, but this was the first time I’d seen him perform and then I turn right around and forgot to include him. Mea culpa.
